Snap Happy Cyclists
(30/01/2012)Since its launch in September 2009, satisfied dublinbikes subscribers have been sending us their images of trips taken on their bikes. Images are sent in by locals, tourists and visitors to Dublin City who all share the similar appreciation for the scheme. Our user photos feature various well known and scenic locations around the city, from the Phoenix Park to St. Stephen’s Green. So far, the bikes have been cycled throughout almost every inch of the city and we have the photos to prove it!
With over 3.1 million journeys clocked up around the city in less than 3 years, dublinbikes is proving to be one of the world’s most successful bike schemes. Long term subscribers have grown to almost 42,990, with short term subscribers topping the 28,000 mark. dublinbikes is a fantastic service that helps connect people with the city and bring them to places they want to get, hassle free.
Due to the high volume of photographs received to date, it is impossible to thank our subscribers individually. So to thank you all for your cooperation, we have created a collection of some of our favourite snaps sent in by dublinbikes account holders.
