Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes – updates, May 2015

Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes – updates, May 2015

(15/05/2015)

Various elements of the Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes service have now been updated to ensure that we continue to provide a world class bike share rental scheme. Please see below for a summary of these updates:

  • Terminal Screens

From the end of May, the terminal screens at Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes stations will display a new home screen with live station status, easier access to service information and a streamlined subscription process and credit card payment system. The update will improve service availability and will open the potential for Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes to integrate with additional services in the future.

  • Subscription / Access

When you register with Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes as an annual subscriber, you no longer have to wait for your annual card to arrive in the post. You will instantly receive an email with a temporary ticket number and your 4 digit PIN, allowing you to take out a bike from the moment you sign up.

  • My Account

You can now access the ‘My Account’ section of www.dublinbikes.ie if your account becomes locked due to an out-of-date credit card associated with your subscription. There is no need to call 1850 777 070, instead you will be able to access your account and update your credit card details online.

  • Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes App

Recent updates to the Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes app mean you can now request a reminder of your PIN or subscriber number directly through the app. You can also report a lost or missing annual card. The official Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes app, which is free to download, links directly to your account; meaning you can check that you have returned a bike correctly and haven’t accumulated any unnecessary charges. There is a new ‘News’ section and you can choose to receive alerts in real time if a station is temporarily closed (for roadworks / events in Dublin city etc.). There is also a link to phone the Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes call centre. The app also shows availability of bikes and stands in real time and is suitable for iPhone, Android, Windows and Blackberry.

Having recently celebrated 10 million journeys since launch, Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes continues to go from strength to strength. These updates to the service will enhance the Coca-Cola Zero dublinbikes experience for all users.
